600 Trees from ContourLines.org Planted in Food Forest at Bloodfire Orchards

The tree grant from ContourLines has arrived! Over 600 fruit and nut trees along with nitrogen-fixing plants and hardwoods for biodiversity has been planted in 12 hours by 3 people on a quarter of a mile of swales. Thank GOD for the rain the day before planting as it made planting easy in the mushy sand here in Reynolds, Georgia

A very special thank you goes to Thomas Leonard of Contour Lines, a non-profit organization dedicated to reforesting and helping land owners harvest rain water while reducing erosion and building soil. Visit ContourLines.org.
