Turmeric Education Video Funded by Southern SARE Complete

In early 2024 Southern SARE awarded Bloodfire Orchards and Heather Fritz $3,000 from their Leadership program to develop a five minute educational video on turmeric and how to grow this rhizome.

Southern SARE (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education) supports the family farm, promotes conservation, and strengthens communities through sustainable agriculture strategies. One of these ways is through awarding money through grants, research projects and leadership programs.

We are excited to announce the the video is complete and ready to teach future growers about this new crop.

Thank You Southern SARE and USDA!
